The Society does everything from charity events to teaching! We like to create events around the following areas:
We have done dozens of events in the small period we have been a society! Here is just a taster of some of the events.
The Committee have all been democratically elected into their positions. If you are interested in any committee positions that might be available then send us a quick email.
Harry enjoys free food, and managed to survive the first month of Uni living off free food. Harry is the returning School Rep for Computer Science and will do everything to help benefit the society and make it the best!
Chris is the founder of the society and set it up when he was in his first year. Chris will also be running the outreach programme within the society and can usually find him drinking in some bar.
Matthew is a newcomer to the committee and is looking forward to being an important part of the society for personal benefits and to help members of the society with events.
An avid cyclist who dreams of racing amongst Froome and Sagan. He spent his college life doing graphic design work
Patrick is joining us this year as our Gaming Officer. He will be running Gaming nights, tournaments and our famous Gameathon.
James will be organising plenty of social events throughout the year. James is a keen believer that we need to do socials regularly that cater for everyone.
Jordan is a new social officer and aims to have a wider range of activities for all to get involved with. You will often find him the Rack complaining that he doesn't have enough time.
Eva helped organise the Gameathon last year and will continue to help the social side this year. Eva is also on the Societies Exec. Board representing our committee and other general interest Societies.
Christina is our resident shot and poll girl. She will be joining the committee as a social officer and bringing some fun new events to the Society. Christina is a part of other societies and will be organising collaborative events.
George wants to improve the tech-side by introducing more coding events and challenges. In his spare time he enjoys reading, playing tabletop games, and drinking in Wetherspoons.
Josh is a fake math nerd who learns mostly through procrastination. If you're excited about something technical feel free to grab him for a chat. Josh will be running our Arduino sessions this year.
